Dr. Tipton relies on a very experienced support team. All of our staff has extensive years of experience ranging from front office duties to detailed clinic and lab work. Each member brings additional unique skills and abilities.
Irene Office Manager and Clinical Assistant—Manages all office accounts and assits Dr. Tipton in certain projects Irene loves her job, because she likes taking part in changing people’s lives. “Our patients are so excited about getting braces on and now, with the SureSmile technology, the process is quicker and more efficient… and that makes them even happier!” Irene began her orthodontic experience in 1986 and has worked with Dr. Tipton since 1991. She is a certified dental assistant and belongs to the Arizona Treatment Coordinators Study Group and the Dental Assisting National Board. Irene and her husband Ozzie have been married for 28 years. She loves crafting, cooking, scrapbooking, riding motorcycles and traveling.
Sue Clinic Coordinator and Chair-side Assistant—Maintains the flow of patients going in and out of the clinic, performs work on patients. Sue’s favorite part about working at Tipton Orthodontics is brace removal day. She enjoys seeing people pleased and excited about their new smile. She said the more a patient’s smile improves, the happier they become: “It’s like watching a flower bloom in front of your eyes!” Sue has been working in the field of orthodontics for over 30 years, and she is not even 40 yet! Better yet, she still loves her job. Sue has been working for Dr. Tipton for 15 years. She received her Certificate of Dental Assisting from the University of Detroit Dental School. Sue’s hobbies include watching the Detroit Redwings and spoiling her twin niece and nephew.
Beverly Treatment Coordinator—Meets with each new patient, prepares patients for first exam. Beverly looks forward to working at Tipton Orthodontics because she likes meeting each of the patients and their families and then seeing them again when their braces are removed. “It is very rewarding!” Beverly has been working with Dr. Tipton and his team for nine years. Her and husband Michael have been married 25 years. They have two grown children, Jonathan and Bethany. Her favorite hobbies are scrapbooking, crafts and shopping.
Patty Account Representative—Manages patient accounts Insurance Coordinator—Submits and tracks insurance receivables Patty loves working at Tipton Orthodontics, because she enjoys working with kids. “It is fun to see them excited about getting their braces, and then see them happy with their result.” She received her CDA in 1978 and has worked in dentistry for over 24 years, including general dentistry and periodontics. Patty is married and has one daughter, Dayna. Her favorite hobbies are cooking and shopping with her daughter. She also enjoys watching sports, camping and riding quads in the mountains and sand dunes.
Rebecca Clinical Assistant—Assists Dr. Tipton in orthodontic procedures. Rebecca likes working at Tipton Orthodontics because she is able to use her experience and skills to the best of her ability. “I look forward to interacting with my patients and their families. As a fluent Spanish speaker, I look forward to interacting with our Spanish-speaking patients.” Rebecca has been working with Dr. Tipton for a year and has been in the field of orthodontics for 10 years. When she has time off, she loves spending time with her family and shopping.
Alice Receptionist—Schedules appointments and manages administrative duties. Alice likes establishing relationships with the patients and their families. She has worked for Dr. Tipton for over six years. Alice left Tipton Orthodontics for a short time while her children finished school and she finished her college degree. Alice loves spending time with her family (especially her nine grandchildren), reading, embroidery and working on her computer.
Whitney Clinical Assistant—Assists Dr. Tipton in orthodontic procedures. Whitney said the best thing about working at Tipton Orthodontics is the people. “Between our wonderful staff and our awesome patients, I always surrounded by great people!” Whitney has worked at Tipton Orthodontics for about seven months. She has been married for almost two years and loves spending time with her husband. They love participating in a variety of sporting events and outdoor activities including: volleyball, camping, fishing, football, basketball, hiking, etc.
